LFW Day 2 – Casper Chan

lfw day 2 blue blogger

LWF isn’t just full of attention hungry style bloggers and fashion-world’ers. Mostly it is, but here is a stylish graphic designer for you to break the monotony. Casper Chan creates fabulous type-faces and illustrations for magazines and ad-campains around the world, check out his work at Disinlok, its really most wonderous. His instagram page is quite a wonder too. One of the real challenges of great style is how to look fab while wearing something casual and comfortable, and Casper’s blue jacket is casual indeed, yet look for the details in the zip-edging, stylized pockets and a semi-tailored look. Other fab details are tapered trousers, no socks, FABulous oxblood brogues, colour-pop belt and a statement manbag and a hat. Its a perfect attention-grabbing day look, while being both comfortable and practical. WIN. Don’t be afraid to accessorize boys! xx

LFW Day 2 – Mr Draper

No, not that Mr Draper. Mr @tuckmb over at @stylefannet. Don’t you just adore the pleated floaty fabulousness of the Issey? I do. Worn with the long utilitarian-style tunic the shimmery fabric really comes alive, and the whole ensemble excudes a certain futuristic-urban-warrior-monk kinda vibe. Oh how I miss the streetstyle saturation of LFW already.

LFW Day 2 – Sarah Kinder

vera london lfw tsd blog

Blonde Bombeshell artist Sarah Kinder aka @vera_london rocked 80’s vintage glam at LFW day 2. The simplistic glamour of this suit and turtleneck is given just the right amount of attitude with a touch of spiky peroxide and fierce footwear. The smidgen of tortoise shell, gold and red lippy is a delightful cherry-on-top, and I assure you, I’m not the only one who spotted a true individual manifested sartorially here, she was still busy posing as i left!

check out some of Sarah’s art here

LFW Day 2 – Leandra Medine

manrepeller lfw day2 blog

Moooore  LFW illustrations? Even thought we are almost at PFW? Yes. Oh yes. You will see outfits from LFW for a while yet. About another 10… I have a backlog the size of an Aye-Aye’s middle finger. But where’s the problem really, when the outfits and people are so fabulous? Especially in this case. How lovely to bump into Leandra Medine, aka the Man Repeller, after the Marios Schwab presentation. Always dressed in faultless casual fabulousness, she manages to make designer clothes look the way you always hope’d they’d look on a normal person, aka you (ok ME), however somehow it always fails when you (I) try…if anyone knows her secret please fill me in. This particular delicious ensemble is one kooky mix, but its all tied together by devastatingly awesome accessories. Apart from the whimsical Stella McCartney skirt (which by the way, is sold out everywhere but available at The Outnet for under half price!), Acne denim jacket and Rosie Assoulin top (do check her out, her stuff is A-mazing), take Particular Note of that Chloe bag, -that will be mine asap thanks, oh and the Celine brogues. YUM. And just a little subtle sparkle from bangles, watch and rings. YES. I approve. Not that she needs anyone’s approval. Perhaps that’s her secret.

LFW – Velsvoir x Library Party

velsvoir library party tsb blog

What a delight to see the Talha and Zak Timol again at the Velsvoir x Library Party. The Timol brothers are the creative force behind London/Dubai luxury accessory label Velsvoir, and they recently teamed up with new Private members club Library to create as set of dashing uniforms for the Library staff, channeling traditional British Dany with sharp modern tailoring, as is the Velsvoir way. If in doubt of their signature, simply behold their impeccable style, from razor sharp suits to flawless details of bow-ties (red pony and stingray in this case), pocket squares, chains, shoes (Galet), specs, hair – nothing is left un-groomed, to chance, to thoughtlessness. And the fruits of their ever-present sartorial labour are forever a delight to take in. These gentlemen know not only how to present a good outfit, but a whole package of dashing style, from faultless manners to dapper aesthetics and beyond. Its impossible not to be completely smitten with their fabulousness.

LFW Day One – FNO & Makin Jan Ma

tsd lfw fno couple blog

LFW isn’t always as full of sharp and dapper men as LCM, however a few utter gems are there to be found, and one such gem on Day One was Gideon Cudjoe, editor in chief of FNO Magazine. Difficult as it may be to steal the show when you stand next to a fierce and gorgeous amazonian goddess with legs up to there, I think it is fair to say he did. Wearing some killer Makin Jan Ma , both Gideon and @Jul1iebabes looked the Dogs B. I mean, check out those dragon heads! All hail the peeps at Makin Jan Ma.

LFW Day One – Maga Moura

lfw day 1 magavilhas tsd blog

Magà Moura has the ability to brighten up the gloomiest of days. Not that LFW Day 1 was particularly dark or morose, however, when Fashion Week is all over, and we feel the withdrawal of shiny-new-things-every-day,scroll through @magavilhas on instagram and smile. Her collection of bonkers earrings make me particularly happy. The Brasilian beauty works as a fashion PR, ‘Cool Hunter’ and Style Blogger. Tired of the ‘sameness’ often found in the sartorial world, she values and craves originality and eccentricity, and lives by her word. Which is wonderful for us! May the kooky acid candy fest continue! xx

LFW Day One – Kyle Lo

lfw day 1 kyle lo

Editor in chief of DIION magazine Kyle Lo, aka @kylelomonaco does one of my favourite things here, – men wearing opulent jewellery and OWNING it.

This particular stunner is by Pebble London, who take inspiration from tribal jewellery and nature, to create intricate and lustrous statement pieces.

I love the way this outfit lets the jewellery speak for itself, creating a bold and striking look that’s sure to grab attention from waaaaay across the yard.

Be sure to check out DIION for even more striking takes on aesthetics, it is a wonderfully refreshing digital collection of art and fashion of different media, pushing the boundaries of the ordinary and dictated.

Now, Men, please can you all wear more precious metals?
